Chris' Studio

Chris worked in a very simple converted garage connected to the dining room of her Eichler home in Palo Alto. Her main work area was a board placed on top of a stack of flat files. She also used an easel placed in front of the water heater. These photos of her studio are exactly as she left it when she first fell ill. Very little has been moved: mostly a stack of recent work was placed on top of the table where her last painting lay gessoed and ready to paint.
